HISTORY :
ACSPL was established in 1996, as proprietary concern and granted a certificate of incorporation as "Akshay Controls & Systems Pvt. Ltd." and has it's registered office at CBD - Belapur, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

In 2005, ACSPL have been assessed and approved by Indian Registrar Quality Systems (A Department of IRS) in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001:2000 with respect to the following scope: "Design, Manufacture, Supply and Repair of Marine Electronic Equipments and Control Systems".

ACSPL initially focused on meeting the growing demand for a specialist electrical, electronic and control system repair and servicing company generated by the shipping and offshore industrial activities in Indian Ports. Over the years the shipping industry at Mumbai grew rapidly and ACSPL also grew to meet the additional demands as a company that was able to carry out complex electronic control and system repairs of visiting vessels. By early 2000 ACSPL became well established in the area and built up a strong customer base which included many Indian and international shipping agents, owners and operators.

OUR CAPABILITIES :

ACSPL has today developed in house capabilities to provide complete solutions to the customer. We are completely self sufficient in terms of knowledge right from system design to building the system and final commissioning of the system. We are transparent and share our complete knowledge base on the products, applications, regulations, integration and other aspects with the customer.

ACSPL is a name to reckon in the field of import substitution of marine control & automation. ASCPL also provides spares and repair service to older systems, irrespective of their original manufacturer and age. We specialize in repairing (or re-designing) old and often obsolete marine control and automation products.

The increasing complexity and integration of electrical & electronic control systems into all types of process equipment & machinery resulted in increasing demand for the range of services offered and rapid expansion followed. The experience gained by us over the past decade led to increasing number of requests from ship owners to provide service cover worldwide. Over the years we have evolved a wide knowledge base and being located at Mumbai, prompt response at short notice is an added advantage. Backed by the experience in the marine control and automation field, we are at an added advantage of being able to understand and discern the root cause of most of the operation & maintenance (O&M) based technical faults / problems that are faced by our clients. Thus when approached with a specific problem we are able to diagnose and offer prompt solutions, which gives us our winning edge.

A unique feature is that under one umbrella we offer a number of services widely ranging from indigenous design, development of control systems, repair of existing / old systems, tailor made solutions, supply of equipment components and systems, installation & commissioning, training, maintenance & servicing, customised interfaces, simulators and calibration.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT :

The R&D team was formed in an endeavor to meet the challenges of developing control and automation systems and modules indigenously. It offered a working platform to develop, improvise and innovate along with a self confidence about our capability to deliver products that meet industry standards.

AKSHTRONICA^TM

AKSHTRONICA^TM (the R& D and Product Development Wing of ASCPL) offers a product portfolio ranging from marine electronics to control & automation products. We carry out the design and development of new control and automation modules and systems. We supply the equipment as stand alone modules as well as design and execute its integration with the existing system. As our customer you would get access to the entire knowledge base linked with the various aspects of the product or system. Our solid and stable robust products are architecture to incorporate state-of-the-art features that provide speed, accuracy, redundancy, reliability, flexibility and maintainability. The components are qualified for the rough environmental conditions and high safety requirements on the high seas. We also have the simulators for various controls to carry out test and run trials.
